Enjoy a unique sensorial experience at Albanyà Astronomical Observatory. Our team of local astronomers, led by the renowned astrophotographer Juan Carlos Casado and Pere Guerra, will take you on an audiovisual tour through the sky adapting the content of your stargazing experience to the current weather and time of the year so that it is as rewarding as possible.
Seated outdoors in a stadium with heated sits and a capability of 124 persons, we’ll enjoy a journey through space and time accompanied by the music specially made by renowned catalan composer Pep Sala.
We’ll discover the secrets of the night sky of Albanyà (the only International Dark Sky Park of Spain) across the seasons. The experience will combine live video feed from the telescope of Albanyà with other media content about astronomy.
At the end of the session, an optional group photo will be made with the participants that would like to appear in a photo with the observatory and the skies of Albanyà.
The sessions schedule changes across the year, as session times are dependent on dusk time.
